A car dolly, or tow dolly, is a two-wheeled mini-trailer that lifts the front (drive) wheels of a vehicle off the ground, allowing the rear wheels to roll along the pavement during transport. They are a cost-effective solution for moving smaller, front-wheel-drive cars over short distances, but require careful handling and are generally not suitable for long-distance moves.
